have a blue day

Ok, my blue period is back! Don't worry, I won't justify my blue purchases and outfits by saying that "blue is the new black" or stuff like that!! I just need some strong electric blue in this period, it makes me feel full of energy and happy, and it definitely capture my eye when I'm shopping around. So, blue my mind!

UNIQLO + J

October 7 is the date. Another winning collaboration between Uniqlo and Jil Sander will be in stores soon. Uniqlo, already famous for its low cost Japanese simplicity, combines this essential taste with another master of sartorial minimalism, Jil Sander. The simple and clean design of the brand, perfectly reflects the spirit of Uniqlo, creating an easy and perfectly cut collection.

Erin Wasson x Elle Italia

Reading the August issue of Elle Italia, I found this photoshoot of model Erin Wasson showing the places of her childhood. A diary on the road that reveals the free spirit of Erin, and her hippie, rock, folk,  and charming personal style. All of the rings and necklaces she wears in the photoshoot are her owns (some of them are part of her jewelry line Erin Wasson x LowLuv) she never takes them off, and why should she?! That contributes to her genuine gipsy look we all love and admire.

The H&M lace shorts combines perfectly with simple shirts or tank top and tiny ballerinas, as my old and beloved Marc by Marc Jacobs from summer 2007!! I love them, and they're perfect as the first day!

light morning

I have to admit that this summer I miss the sea too much, and it reflects in my outfits……it's a bit like I'm always ready to go to the beach! At least this is what stripes and light colors makes me think about..

Louis Vuitton knows good windows

Louis Vuitton’s windows always surprised and inspired me, so in Paris I definitely had to go to see the ones in the Champs Elysées store. Every window had a different story, like if there was a scene in action! They were so colourful and bright, the mannequins had all the Stephen Sprouse for Louis Vuitton print in a variety of different colours. A really cool idea I must say.

Vogue Italia August Water & Oil

An amazing advertising campaign reflecting what is happening in the Mexican gulf. Kristen McMenamy is the protagonist of the images sequence, shot by the eye of Steven Meisel, who has by now (after lots of collaborations) estabished a winning partnership with VOGUE Italia. For sure it'll be debated a lot!

parisian style

Just a little taste!

10 days of parisian life

In july, to escape from the heat of Florence, I went some days in Paris. The weather was more like in september, that was perfect for me. I'm not one of those warm weathers and sunny days lovers, or maybe I can desire one of those days when in february, after 3 months of cold and rain, I just need some burning sun! In summer I don't really go out of home a lot, and If I have to go somewhere after 10 am or before 8 pm, I bring with me a survival kit which includes vichy thermal spray, water, sun protection (don't laugh I have a sensitive skin), very dark sunglasses, and every kind of trick which can help me to keep my hair up!!

Fortunately, in Paris the weather was perfect, and I totally relaxed for 10 days, just doing whatever I wanted to. Even if I went to Paris lots of times already, I still had things to discover, so I enjoyed my tourist life!

Here are some photos from my trip!
