love the opposites

Vans are my adored everyday shoes and what I really fancy about them is that they're so versatile that I can really wear them with almost every single item of my wardrobe! But I love shoes in general and even if heels are not what I wear everyday, I still got an unhealthy obsession for those ones...I recently (well...more than one month ago) fell for the white ones that you can see above from Zara. It's a long time I don't buy pointed shoes but these lovely cut ones caught my attention and trust me I'll make a special effort and try to not leave them in the box!

Some news from the Topshop website that really worth it.....I can just tell that accessories look promising in this upcoming fall collection. But especially the shoes ....Topshop shoes are always "too" beautiful.

As I promised in some previous post, here is my most smart purchase from the past sales. Beautifully cut, and totally open on the back has become "the dress" of my wardrobe.
I mean, we all have the dress of the month(the one we would wear everyday no matter what). Well this one I'm sure that's going to last even longer.

I honestly never had a huge attraction for espadrillas but this summer I found a really simple model (because, even if it sounds strange, espadrillas are not all made in the same way) that I got in every color...but no worries they were incredibly cheap priced!!

These colors and fabrics above mixed together are my latest obsession. Specially thanks to my denim shirt purchased a few weeks ago at The Kooples (I'll soon show you a black dress I got at the same shop yesterday on sale!!) and my dear old leather jacket from Sandro, which perfectly match with the neutral other tones. 
I'm falling for every simple, large and comfy item lately and London's shops seems to meet my wishes perfectly!!

take some time

I'm really lazy today, so I decided to basically not do anything (except for a drink with some friends tonight), and concentrate on my week end! I'm planning some tour, pic nic in the park, and I'd love to go to Brighton for two days...
The problem is how do I get together a good number of people to do it with?! In London you have the chance to see your friends every two weeks if you're lucky! Everybody has different working shifts and finding some quality time to spend together is quite a job!!
Anyway I'll keep on trying and I'll tell you the results soon...

So...during these days I'm enjoying a bit of spare time walking around London with no specific destination. I found myself discovering the most beautiful places. I've been living here for 9 months now and I still have so many secret and awesome locations to discover....some of these streets, park, or buildings, are right beyond my everyday walk home or work but I just don't know about it. I'll soon upload a few photos from my latest discoveries!

Look what I found on sale! It's a long time I'm admiring this knit from Maison Martin Margiela and yesterday I saw it reduced to the minimum. It's pure simplicity and softness..

I've never been a sales lover, but I'll tell you that since I'm in London I completely changed my mind. Here the chance of making a good deal is really existing!!

My blazer mania is becoming something that my bank balance should fear! I just found out that I have some kind of natural talent for discovering lovely blazers everywhere I go. 
But since It's such a perfect item I do not regret any of them...actually it can save your outfit, when you're about to panic in front of the closet! 
This one I recently got from H&M especially, has a really good cut and has the right length.

Yesterday morning I woke up early and went to Brick Lane market to discover some vintage deal or simply to take a few photos.
Everytime I go there I become more aware of the importance that that place has for fashion. It's a place for creative people....some of them work there, some others you can notice them for their unusual look, and then there are the art college students, always doing some kind of researches with fabrics, shapes, people, images. In this period there are a lots of exhibitions, arranged in various buildings in Brick Lane, showing the degree shows of some graduated students from lots of art universities in the UK.
So yeah, Brick lane is a place full of surprises, is alive and looking forward. And I'm looking forward to the next sunday market!!

Kimchi & Blue is the name of the brand who created my new bra. I never heard this name before but as soon as I saw this lovely item in Urban Outfitters I fell in love...so feminine and discreet. I can say that for once I found exactly what I was looking for!

I know that giving advices on eyeliners is pretty unusual, but I think that it's quite hard to find a really good one. Finally I made my decision and once again Topshop and Yves Saint Laurent come help me with their black lines of precision!!

A good start in the morning is vital in order to have a decent day. A cup of tea and a good magazine are in a way my winning recipe, together with a bit of sun and an extreme silence!
I'm now back in Italy for one week and I can say that I'm really enjoying the good weather and the peaceful sensation of having nothing important to do or to think about. 
But what's most important is spending some time with my doggy.

And if sometimes we ended up thinking that maybe it was time to move on, Mr. Elbaz showed us that girl's love for wedges is never gonna die! At least it's what I think...but let's face the truth...these shoes are just too cool, sweet and perfect. You must say!
