accessories revolution

I miss my camera so much, it's like a nightmare! During my first day in London I had it in my bag together with a bottle of water, and I guess that you can imagine what has happened! I'm still trying to understand if I can save her or not...she doesn't turn on anymore...
Anyway, this sad story was just an explanation for the bad quality of these, and the latest photos on my blog! Right now I'm using my old compact digital camera, and the difference is obvious. sad sad sad.

Enjoy my school work for thursday!

sunny afternoon in London

This is my first outfit post (let's call it like that) in my beloved London!! I've had a very busy time these two weeks and today was the first moment of relax. Luckily sun has been shining the whole day long and Covent Garden was the best place to be today! London is such a special place, but everything turns unhappy when you have so many things to fix. Fortunately the time to enjoy it has arrived and I want to dip into this atmosphere of freedom and creativity! Next posts coming soon, It's a promise!

Asos tights, Sandro leather shorts, Balenciaga bag, Topshop coat, H&M shirt, Asos skull necklace, Hermès ring.

leather heart

I keep on being obsessed with leather, and this is not healthy at all for my finances since leather is quite expensive! Now I'm in London to study and I have to follow the way, full of sacrifices, of a student!! ;)
But it's so hard in here! This city is a continuous temptation if you love fashion, here you can find the most cool vintage stores, with huge selections of everything that I love! And I won't talk about the super perfect leather jackets and boots that I saw today. This is just the beginning and it's already so hard.
I'll keep you informed about any cool news, included exhibitions, shopping, and...whatever!

Balenciaga bag, Sandro leather jacket.

Anja mania

A very lucky period for beautiful model Anja Rubik, spotted in the fashion ad campaigns of Fendi(since last ss collection), H&M, and the brand new Mango fw 2010 catalogue, behind the creative eye of Terry Richardson!
Such a busy time for this polish girl, who has now become an icon such as Freja! So keep on rockin' it Anja!

HERMÈS ss11

This is how I close my review of Paris fashion week.
One of the best Goodbye ever! Jean Paul Gaultier said adieu to Hermès in a special and marvelous way. A catwalk made of red sand with a group of riders and horses in the background, hosted an incredible show. The exclusive equestrian theme (strenght of the Maison) went wild with the help of leather corsets, bodysuits and lots of harnesses (luxury edition of the latest fetish trend), and looks like coming out of a book with the help of fabulous Zorro hats! Talking about the garments is useless, since they don't need any word. It's something that we all know looking at an Hermès collection, It's the ultimate level of quality, elegance and luxury.
At the end of the show a running JPG came to say goodbye to everyone with a red rose in his hand. Chapeau.

Marc Jacobs knows how to make a color statement! I am totally delighted by this China-inspired collection, the way the colors are mixed together is inspiring. This is womanswear!

CHANEL ss11

The set for the Chanel ss11 runway was astounding. A walk in a black & white Versailles garden! Another incredible show, and for the ones who were thinking how it could be possible to surpass a big Iceberg (the last set), well he made it. And to celebrate it all, his eternal muse Inés De La Fressange joined the catwalk with him, more beautiful than ever! Compliments to Monsieur Karl again and again..

Kenzo ss11

This was the 40 years celebration runway for Kenzo! Since I wasn't there I can just show you the style.com photos, but I can tell you that at the end of the presentation of the whole collection, lots of big "dolls" came on the round runway all dressed with traditional costumes!
An amazing job ,once again, by Antonio Marras. It was a triumph of colours, shapes, and prints! In particular I fell in love with the bras that Antonio Marras used with every outfit.

Alexander McQueen ss11

Alexander McQueen, without Alexander McQueen, will never be the same. The master of sartorial extravaganza was unique in everything.
Sarah Burton anyway is doing her best to fairly give new life to his original and spectacular ideas! This is the first collection where we can't see McQueen's original hand, and even if I was afraid of the result, I have to admit that it has been a real success! So, by now, we can just wait to see the next steps of Sarah Burton (and enjoy these ones already), through this hard challenge.
